… And now a TV show…

YES! The Gardener magazine is now on TV! Isn’t it exciting?! Well, for us anyway 🙂

Here’s our first episode for those who aren’t here in Canada. Hope you like it as much as we did filming it…

And for those in Manitoba, the show will be premiering on Shaw TV channel 9 tonight at 9:00pm.

  1. Wow, that was great. I loved the herb basket I will keep that in mind and give it a try next year. Thank you so much for sharing this. Wishing you all the best with the TV show. Hugs

  2. The good thing about always seeing the potholes and anticipating the bump in life, is the pleasant surprise of a smooth ride…

Where did you find this quote? Apologies if I’ve already asked.

  3. Glad to see your blog here. I have just started a small garden in my backyard and to be honest, I am overwhelm to say the least! So, the plan is to create like a raised bed because I do not trust the soil plus I am planting organic veges, fruits and herbs. I got crates from the neighboring store that I hope to turn it into pots. I would appreciate your pointers, please. Thanks!

    1. An organic veggie garden is always nice. when I started planting mine on the ground (i don’t trust the existing soil too), I was told to mix in some Pro-mix soil I got from the garden centre which has compost, perlite and MYCORISE I guess it is a better mix than the regular potting mix. I just added a bit of worm compost to my “magic soil”, and seaweed booster and now all my veggies and herbs are doing good.

      1. Thanks for your response Yashikibuta. I will experiment on what works best for my soil mix, starting on Saturday. I adopted some woods, unfortunately, its not cedar woods but these will help me kick start my project. I am excited. Woot woot!!!
