Daily Prompt: Keep Out

Come and live my life with me…

Who is the one person you hope isn’t reading your blog? Why?

One person I wouldn’t want to read my blog… hmmm.

Family or friends…? I don’t think so since they know everything about me. Besides, it’s a way for them to experience the same things I am going through being so far away.

Co-workers…? Hey, I work for a publishing company, what better way for them to know I can write too, right?

Enemies or haters…? Go ahead and read you haters out there! I am doing fine, better than what you hoped. Reading my blog would just feed your green eyed monster.

I started this blog knowing I am putting my thoughts and opinions, feelings and emotions, experiences and encounters, out there for anyone to read, comment or like. So, I guess I could safely say that there is not one person that I wouldn’t want to read my blog.

Well, maybe I am a bit afraid that my English teacher would find some grammatical errors here somewhere. But hey, English is still my second language, so there!

Mirror, Mirror…

Daily Prompt: Mirror, Mirror
Finish this sentence: “When I look in the mirror, I…”

When I look in the mirror
Who do I see…
I see someone staring back
Who looks just like me.

When I look in the mirror
What will I find…
A ghost? A phantom?
A shadow of someone I left behind.

When I look in the mirror
What should I do…
Should I smile and pretend
That I’m happy too?

When I look in the mirror
How do I feel…
Like I am someone else
Living in a world so unreal.

Daily Prompt: From the Gut
Tell us about the last time you had a real, deep, crying-from-laughing belly laugh.

How I miss that feeling.
Laughing so hard you just want to roll on the floor,
Or pound at the table trying to stop to catch your breath.

Starts with a smile, then a chuckle escapes and turns into a giggle,
As momentum builds that feeling bubbles into a guffaw, loud and howling,
Your body starts shaking as the eruption intensifies.
Tears streaking down your cheeks, your chest and tummy starts to hurt from the exercise,
But it’s still the best sensation in the world!
How I miss that feeling…

Laughter shared with loving family and friends,
where when you think you’ve gotten a hold of your sanity,
one look at another face would send you into another fit of hiccup inducing balls of laughter…
That moment of merriment that makes you crack up,
And will put a smile on your face that will last the whole day…
How I miss that feeling…

Babies laughing always makes me feel good 🙂
