Beautiful Gazania

Every flower in our garden is special.
I might take a liking to a particular flower because of the fullness of its bloom,
or mesmerized by the memories another would awaken in me.
But every one of them has a story to tell me, and I just love sitting in the garden to listen…

Garden Update

I see that my 2 kiddies have entertained you in my absence. And because I am feeling a bit guilty for going MIA these past week, I thought what better way to excuse myself than to show you what I have been up to.

Took quick photos of the garden. Got most of the flowering plants which we started from seeds in pots and around the garden (sorry, no flowers yet); a collection of raspberry and white Impatiens, blue, pink and white Petunias, Chrysanthemums, white Lobelias, Gazania, Heliotrope, Osteospermums and Carpet of Snow. Bought some more flowering plants that already have actual flowers, like the Geraniums and Bleeding hearts, and some Hostas. And of course our herbs; Basil, Sage, Mint, Parsley, Oregano, Thyme and some veggies like Tomatoes and Peppers.

The garden still needs a lot of work, weeding is one that we have been putting off (and i know we’re going to be sorry for that). Well, enjoy the slideshow!

Please excuse the captions disappearing so quickly. I don’t know what happened but when I uploaded the slideshow to YouTube, it screwed up the text 😦
