Daily Prompt: 21st Century Citizen
Do you belong in this day and age? Do you feel comfortable being a citizen of the 21st-century? If you do, explain why — and if you don’t, when in human history would you rather be?

I’m a 20th century, generation X, gal, born in the 70’s, lived in the 80’s and 90’s and matured in the year 2000. But as the world evolved, fashion, technology and the grand birth of the internet, I evolved with it.

There may be some 21st century crazes that I might not be too keen about, but, awkward or not, I am a citizen of the times. I adapt to progress rather than the era.

But if I were to visit a period in history, I would like to check out the roaring 20’s, the era of economic prosperity, characterized by social, cultural and artistic dynamism;  the lavish parties, the glamorous lifestyles, the elegant fashion; the time of The Great Gatsby, minus Jay-Z…
