Another “tula” about traffic in the Philippines

Sorry my English speaking and reading friends, but this is another Filipino/Tagalog post. But for your understanding, the word “tula” is Filipino for poem. The poem here as well as the last one I posted entitled Tula, were composed while I was back in the Philippines stuck behind the wheel in extreme traffic.

nakaka pagod…
titingin ka sa kaliwa at sa kanan…
tatanawin mo ang iyong unahan…
gustuhin mo mang takbuhan,
hindi magawan ng paraan.

nakaka hapo…
katawan ay nanghihina…
mga paa’y nanginginig na…
pansin ang kurap ng mata
dahil sa sakit ng ulong dama.

nakaka rindi…
lito na ang isip at damdamin…
ingay ay di kayang tiisin…
kahit sarili’y sinusubukang aliwin
dinig pa din hampas ng saloobin.

nakaka loka!

    1. Yeah I did. Well part of it I guess. Sinabi sakin ng makatang si 25pesocupnoodles ๐Ÿ˜€
Aside from the truck ban being all day, what else is new?

      1. It’s not really guaranteed yet but from the last update the new scheme is only for those who’ll pass thru EDSA.
FB friends have posted a number of comments about it and one of them hopes the MMDA considers what Seoul did.
